The Rockies Award Show highlights the best creative advertising work completed during the previous year. It is the largest creative ad show in the State of Idaho and is an official event of the Idaho Advertising Federation. Any individual, student, agency, and/or business may enter.

Your Doorway to the American Advertising Awards

As Idaho's entry point to the three-tier American Advertising Awards, entering is your first step toward winning a national ADDY. Silver and Gold winners from the Rockies Award Show are eligible for the American Advertising Awards district competition, and district winners are then forwarded to the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. 

Selection of the most creative entry in each category is based on a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of each entry. A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a Silver ADDY. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on the relative quality of work in that category.

FAQ

  • No. All entries will be submitted and judged digitally. This matches what is in place for this year’s national American Advertising Awards Competition. Please review the Rules, Classifications and Categories document for more details about each category.

  • Yes. Unfortunately, payment is required at the end of each individual form submission on the Submittable platform. However, you do have the option to securely save your card information to your account so you only have to enter in the information once!

  • Yes! We still want to see your stellar work! Just be sure to select the Non-Member Entry Forms on the submittable site with the Non-Member Rate. Please note, Non-Member submissions at the Member rate will be declined. Interested in becoming a member? Please contact Membership Chair at membership@boiseadfed.org

  • Once submitted, you can not make active changes to the entry. If you have made an error, go to the “My Submissions” section of your account, open the entry and submit an “Edit Request” with details of the correction needed. Please reach out to rockiesjudging@boiseadfed.org if there are further issues with your submission.

  • We are sorry to hear that! If you are running into issues, please reach out to us! Message the Rockies Awards Admins through the Submittable platform, watch the Submission Tutorial Video or email info@boiseadfed.org. We appreciate your patience and are ready to work together to solve a problem or create a solution.

  • Boise Advertising Federation and Idaho Advertising Federation are excited to continue our new submission process for it’s fourth year with the platform: Submittable! This platform allows for all Rockies entries to be managed, submitted and paid for digitally. Entries will be submitted digitally for all categories and classifications and DO NOT require physical submissions.

Step-by-step Entry Details

  1. Create a Submittable Account via https://boiseadfed.submittable.com/signup

  2. Once account is created, review the updated Entry Rules and Requirements as well as the Categories and Classifications. (Please note, you will need these to reference throughout the submissions process)

  3. Submit Single Entries and/or Campaign Entries based on your Membership or Non-Membership status with the Idaho Advertising Federation. 

    Non-Member submissions at the Member rate will be Declined until club membership dues are paid. For questions regarding your membership status or for interest in becoming a member. Please contact Membership Chair: membership@boiseadfed.org

  4. Payment: Entry payment must be applied at time of each submission via credit card. *Payment information can be securely saved in the platform for easy payment of each submission.

  5. Manage your submissions in the My Submissions section of your account, which can be found in the dropdown menu under your name at the top of this page. From the user dashboard, you can; review, edit, ask questions, and print copies of your submissions for physical entries.
