DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of an Account Manager, the Account Coordinator provides overall day-to-day customer service and support to ensure the effective execution of customer objectives in marketing and advertising campaigns.
 
The position encompasses administration, project tracking duties, research and handling budgets. Duties of an Account Coordinator include composing client correspondence, creating presentations and maintaining contact lists. You will also work closely with clients and internal teams to best meet client needs. You must also be able pitch ideas, develop strategies and demonstrate problem-solving abilities to address client issues. A degree in marketing, journalism or related field is required.

Graphic Design Internship

We are looking for someone to be a summer intern at PromoShop Boise.

PromoShop Boise houses 1 sales team & the creative and marketing department for all of PromoShop Inc. PromoShop is a promotional marketing agency. The company has a beachy, laid back vibe, yet we still get things done! We service clients from mom and pop shop to industry mega giants.

PromoShop Boise is looking for a talented graphic design student to work around 20 hours a week through the summer. This is a production job that will consist of many projects doing vectorizing and virtual mockups for clients. Since 90% of our clients are outside of Boise, you will communicate mainly via email with our sales force.

We are looking for someone who:
- is proficient in Illustrator
- is proficient at Photoshop
- is very organized
- is a great communicator and emailer

This internship will be paid, DOE. Specific hours will be worked out with the student and creative team, but we are looking for 20 hours a week. This is not a remote position. We are looking for a student to physically work from the Boise, Idaho office.

(It is up to you and your school to decide if this position is eligible for credit.)

DESCRIPTION:

Drake Cooper’s Backstage Pass is open for applications for 2017 and this is your chance. With your Backstage Pass, you join the ranks of the hardest working team assembled since the A-Team and we don’t expect you to drive a van. You’ll be working with peers to create strategic and creative work for real clients. You’ll get a taste of every aspect of advertising from some of the best in the business. You’ll learn a lot about yourself in a short amount of time. Real world skills to find out if advertising is for you or if you should join a Hanson Brothers tribute band (it’s certainly the more profitable career choice). You’re going to work hard, stay late, work harder, come in earlier, be miserable and love every second of it. One thing is certain; you’ll have a resume that kicks the competition to the curb. 

HOW IT WORKS

  • Sound Check. Every Wednesday, there is a meeting and workshop that teaches a facet of the business.
  • Brief. Every other week after the Sound Check, a brief will be assigned to the group. Interns will split into two teams and each group will have one week to come up with the best concept to pitch to the agency.
  • Presentation. The team will pitch their ideas internally. Stand up to Q & A. Answering feedback. If it’s worth an encore, you’ll pitch your idea to the client, live. No net

Requirements:
Don’t be a jerk. We have a pretty rigorous code around here, and being ambitious, kind, honest, creative and innovative are big with us. Going first, failing first, standing up and debating for work that gets results is what we do. That might not be you, that doesn’t mean you won’t do well, you just won’t do it with us.

Benefits:

  • Pay. Contract basis $12 per hour
  • Hours. 25 hours per week
  • Letter of Recommendation. A letter of recommendation and/or introduction from the team leader and Jamie Cooper, CEO for all the Backstage Pass holders at the end of the season.
  • Access. We are busy and successful because we sincerely believe in nurturing young adlings so they can spread their wings and move out of their cars or parents’ basements. The interns will have open access to the agency, employees, and the kombucha keg during their time at Drake Cooper. If you’re hungry to pull back the curtain and see the mess that makes the music, we’re glad to share what we know.
  • School Credit. If you are still in school and are looking for credit, this program qualifies for most institutions. Make sure you let us know in the interviews and we’ll work on that.
  • Networking. It’s mutual and we’ll be glad to know you for a lifetime.

Are you a natural-born storyteller? Someone who can translate the obscure, the technical and sometimes the simply odd into an easy-to-read, grammatically correct but enticing story that keeps readers hooked? Do you have experience using your storytelling in a marketing capacity? If so then we should probably talk.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll report to and work closely with Jelli’s Director of Marketing where your primary focus will be on producing original content, including white papers, blog posts, and social media posts – anything in written form that helps the company tell its product story more effectively.

  • Be a self-starter able to manage workload delivering quality work in spec and on time – this is your chance to make an exciting technology marketing job your own.
  • Be a writer! Translate executive direction and content suggestions into:
    • Compelling decks that motivate buyers to buy
    • A monthly newsletter customers actually want to read
    • Engaging blog posts personalizing Jelli and its products
    • Social media content that translates into brand awareness and engagement
    • White papers that inform and sell Jelli’s revolutionary ad tech
    • Storytelling that makes our infographics visual gold
    • Any other content types you think we should be creating
  • Be the editor: As the voice of Jelli ensure everything we communicate to the market makes us sound smart, excites our customers & prospects, and most importantly, make sure we’re dotting our i’s and crossing our t’s correctly.
  • Have a visual eye: Working with the Director of Marketing, you'll manage the image & video creative development process with both internal creative resources and 3rd party vendors generating assets that best tell Jelli’s story.
  • Don’t be afraid to be technical: You’ll be managing Wordpress, thinking through SEO, tweaking HTML and pulling Google Analytics reporting. So it’s helpful if you come to us with some experience in these areas.

What’s required

  • 2-4 years in a similar role as an Associate or Content Marketing Manager - ideally in a SAAS company similar to Jelli is preferred but not necessary
  • Excellent writer with strong critical thinking skills able to translate other people’s ideas into compelling, easy-to-consume content
  • Ability to adapt writing style to varying target audiences and in both high-quality long- and short-form content formats
  • Be able to produce quality content on time and against deadlines
  • Social media savvy, especially with B2B social marketing and paid advertising via platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Some exposure to Wordpress, HTML, Google Analytics and SEO is helpful
  • Some experience with graphic design or experience finding and selecting appropriate imagery for content created is highly desired
  • Position is based in Boise, Idaho - no relocation available for this position
  • Be willing to travel occasionally to Jelli’s headquarters in California as well as elsewhere in the US
