College degree in
Broadcast Communications, related field or related experience preferred.
Skills:
Candidate must be able to edit compelling video and audio for
television news; have solid knowledge of editing equipment; demonstrate strong
news judgment; ability to write copy; demonstrate strong problem solving
abilities; show high work ethics; ability to meet on-air deadlines; detail orientation.
Experience:
A minimum of one
year of non-linear editing experience for television news preferred.
Responsible for editing compelling video and audio for
television news programs under supervision of News Production Manager and Chief
Photographer. Log video
daily. Edit Franchise packages as
assigned. Meet deadlines for completing assignments; handle other tasks as
assigned by Supervisor.
